Joined Oldham on loan, just about all of our reserves first team out on loan now. Good luck to them all is this is their chance to show Mon they can make it in the Pl.
Seen him a few times for the reserves big strong lad but don't think we'll be seeing him in the first team.
Not sure we'll ever find out lads either way, sometimes you don't look PL class in a reserve game but, can step up when given the chance. We should be giving these lads a chance at first team action and not just 5 minutes at the end of a game it's the only way we'll find out.
This for me, look at the last 3 kids we gave proper game time, Colback, Hendo and McClean all were successes.
I noticed that mvoto guy scored last weekend, think we released him though. Does anyone know what the rules are on tribunals for under 24 players joining other clubs when their contracts end? Is the representative of the players ability, the finances of both clubs or a mixture of both?
On the other hand the reason these 3 got their chance was because they were head and shoulders above their peers
Not sure about that Parker, when Colback was out on loan there were plenty saying he would never make the step up.
Didnt he win Ipswichs young player of the year though. I remember thinking he was very ordinary the first few times I saw him but he has come on leaps and bounds
