He is six feet four and a half inches tall, plays in central midfield, only on loan from The Bees for a month to keep him match fit.

Born in Paris, of Malian descent. He was known by the nickname "Dave" in the past, but prefers to be known as "Toums" !

We need a ball winner - hopefully he can do the job, albeit for the next month only.

its a initial month deal......word is, if he pans out ok it will be for the remainder of the season. I would say having seen him play against us last year it could be a great move, gives competition for places and offers something different, we have some technically good payers in midfield......we do lack a worker, some one who will just run and be a nuisance to defences and strikers a like........he can defo do a job for us <ok>

Brentford are set to give Portsmouth the green light to extend the loan spell of Toumani Diagouraga <party>

The Bees midfielder has featured five times since joining Pompey last month, but is due to return to Griffin Park after Saturday's trip to Fleetwood.

Portsmouth boss Richie Barker is keen to keep the Frenchman, but Brentford counterpart Mark Warburton had indicated he would bring back Diagouraga once the deal expired.

However, with Jake Reeves ahead of him in the pecking order, the Bees chief looks ready to rubber-stamp an extension, although the League One promotion chasers would have a 24-hour recall clause.

Good news, as he is probably our best midfielder at the moment, until Simon Ferry is finally announced fully fit <ok>
