Tough times ahead?

Just had a quick look at the league table and noticed you are 'down there' with us, something I was not expecting to see.

What's the mood in the Swans camp? Is it starting to go wrong for Gary Monk without a 'free-scoring' striker, or is just a blip?

I have not seen anything of your games this season, not even highlights so will ask....are you playing the same 'tippy-tappy' game but without the end product, or has there been a more radical change in style?

I'm not too concerned, we've had a very difficult start to the season playing Chelsea, Man u, Southampton and Everton. Our form recently hasn't been great but just putting that down to little blip. It's something that always happens to us. If you look at our current form from the past 7 league games we would end with 49 points around par with last year so ATM I'm not worried ATM.

 

If you put it like that, I am a happy Canary as we will also hit 49 points - I wish

 

Yes but you haven't had to play any of the top 4 teams have you! I don't think Norwich will struggle this year but to say we're in trouble is a bit silly after looking at our fixtures innit! At this stage of the season I think it's premature to start worrying come back after Christmas and see where we are then

 

Bit of a blip I would say, we always seem to have these bloody awful dips in performance, not even Montero was playing well, but don't get me started on Taylor.......

I am more than concerned.We are not playing well.Maybe ALL at the club are thinking they are much better than they actually are (media hype).The more they hear and read it the more they believe.Familiarity breeds contempt.

Gomis' scoring record suggests otherwise but hey ho. He was rubbish today but so was everyone else.

 

I like Eder I think he's a lively player who just needs a run in the team and time to settle.

Gomis had a **** day today but again feed him and he'll score. He reminds me of Scotland in ways where he does nothing for most of the game then takes his chances.

 

Could be worse, we could be Chelsea 2-0 down to Newcastle hahaha

 

What do you consider the easier games?The 4 you mention we draw,win,lose and draw.

 

Must have a clear reaction to this poor display today next game, otherwise Monk could well be in trouble..............

 

Long hard struggling season for us methinks!!

 

Mmmmmmm good question actually. We've seem to have only preformed against the big teams.

I think this season is the most competitive in years and really there is no easy games. The promoted sides are looking better than ever and teams like crystal palace, West ham and Leicester are looking really strong. Stoke & Chelsea are massively under performing but still as I said earlier it's still very early in the season.
