No honest to god. No wum attempt here. Due to British teams' coefficient in Europe and the fact that the winners of this comp go straight into the CL the 5th place team in the league goes in. Or so I was informed by the blokes on th tely. Think FA cup scenario but for the league.

The Europa League Winners do not get a Champions League Place.

Athletico Madrid won it last year and entered the competition this year in the group stage
