It also means Chelsea go to Villa on Saturday wanting a win. I was hoping West Ham beat Newcastle last Saturday and will hoping for a QPR win this Sunday. Basically become a London fan for a few weeks.
Have I missed something here? If Spurs win then they go above Arsenal and if Spurs and Chelsea win both of their remaining games Arsenal cannot get into the Champions League even if they win both of their games. If Chelsea win or draw then Arsenal stay 4th and would be guaranteed at least that spot if they win both of their remaining games. Surely that would be a bigger incentive for Arsenal?
Pretty certain it won't affect them much, arsenal are going to have to play to the end of the season regardless and are unlikely to give up based on the result tonight. chelsea and spurs won't be pulling up either. Only the Manchesters have nothing to play for at the top.
spurs to win really, as they have mackems on the final day. and also means chelsea need to beat villa. although i don't think the mackems will go down, it'll be nice to finish above them if we can
