    Highly rated: Alex Pritchard

Tottenham have rejected an offer from Queens Park Rangers for midfield starlet Alex Pritchard.

The 18-year-old has been at White Hart Lane since the age of 10 but is out of contract in the summer and that has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs.

Tottenham want to keep Pritchard - who is yet to make his senior debut - but will be able to claim a compensation fee if he leaves.

good to show some ambition, i'm a big fan of youth along with lower league players, those type of players are always the ones who put the most effort etc

Still pissed the scousers stole Raheem Sterling off us and are now trying to claim he's a brilliant youth product of their academy <doh>

Our two best youth products in the last 15 years, and possibly/probably ever have been robbed and killed :(

Not about any player in particular but I think it's wrong how the top clubs pay a pittance for youngsters, let them wallow in their many youth teams and stagnate as footballers before letting them go. Bostock, for example, had all the potential in the world. Spurs fluttered their eyelashes and a few pound notes and now he's playing in League Two when he should be four years into a career having played increasingly regularly for Palace.
