Tottenham duo Jake Livermore and Bongani Khumalo are poised to join Rangers on loan. Spurs manager Harry Redknapp confirmed he has held talks with the SPL champions about getting the youngsters first-team football at Ibrox next season. He believes both player good have long-term futures at White Hart Lane but does not want their first-team opportunities to be limited at Premier League. Midfielder Livermore, aged 21, has been out on several loans already and Redknapp is now ready to let him make a high profile move to Rangers. Redknapp said: "They are looking for some loans and I mentioned one or two lads that we would loan out if they are interested. "Jake Livermore I think is going to come through and be a top player. He has a great attitude and is a fantastic boy. "He has been out on loan a few times and he has been unlucky really. "We have got lots of midfielders and he has not really had the opportunity, but Glasgow Rangers were interested in loaning him, and he is a player I would loan out again. That would be good for him." Khumalo arrived at Spurs in January and was immediately sent on loan to Preston. Redknapp added: "And there is another young lad, Bongani, a central defender who we took from South Africa, played in the World Cup. "He went to Preston last year when he first came over and he needs to get out and get more experience, but he would do well at Rangers I am sure."
It was straight out of Harry Redknapps mouth on SSN last night, I was watching it and he said that these two boys were going to "Glasgow Rangers - a great club, massive club"
I believe the quote was, "Glasgow Rangers - a great club, massive club, certainly better than those other ****s up there". I may have misheard though.
Hello Rangers fans! PNE fan here - with a keen interest in Rangers I might add!! We had Bongani Khumalo on loan last season and he is a cracking player. Will suit you down to the ground. He's a big lad with a no nonsense style about him, but does have a bit of skill to back him up too. We were gutted we couldnt keep him a bit longer than we did, I am sure we probably would haev stayed up with him in the side for the remaining few games. Hope he works out for you!! Good luck lads!!!
do you know prestonbear he sometimes posts on here hes from preston and supports rangers but refuses to use a comma do you know him?
Ha! No I don't I am afraid. Hoping to get up for a few Rangers games this season - looking forward to 4 in a row!!
