Leeds will yet again be without Patrick Bamford. The Leeds hitman is making slow but steady progress of overcoming his ankle injury. If midweek reports are to be believed, he may be out for a further month. Joe Gelhardt is also a major doubt. He's been confined to upper body and bicycle exercise this week. There's no return in sight for Robin Koch. He is still recovering from the groin injury he sustained on the opening day of the season, which required specialist surgery in the States. There is better news regarding Ayling, Shackleton and Firpo. All three have been training this week following their respective injuries, and should at least make the bench. Versatile utility player Stuart Dallas stands by. Raphinha is fit to play after being the victim of a vicious elbow to the face whilst on International duty with Brazil. Leeds have the luxury of choice in central midfield; Adam Forshaw or Mateusz Klich. Bielsa will be hoping that 25m signing Dan James can replicate the same form he showed whilst on International duty with Wales, especially against Belgium. Spurs will be without talented midfielder Oliver Skipp who is suspended, and centre back Cristian Romero who suffered a hamstring injury during Argentina's goalless draw against Brazil during the early hours of Wednesday morning. Son Heung-Min also picked up an injury whilst on International duty (with South Korea). A late fitness test will determine whether he's fit to play. Pierre-Emile Kordt is battling to be fit after picking up a knock during Conte's first match in charge against Everton. Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil return to the fold after injury.
insatiable work ethic are the links between Marcelo Bielsa and Antonio Conte, who clash for the first time on Sunday. When Leeds United visit Tottenham Hotspur in the capital it will be the first time the Argentine and the Italian have opposed one another on a touchline, though not their first meeting. There is evidence of one public function they have shared before. In March 2015, the pair were in Florence for an awards ceremony hosted by the Italian Football Federation. While they both picked up gongs on the day, it was Bielsa who stood for two hours and delivered a lecture on the game with Conte watching on from the front row There are pictures of a warm handshake afterwards, but little else to show for a relationship of any kind. Sunday promises to be another fascinating tactical battle between Bielsa and one of the Premier League’s best coaches. It was Slaven Bilic who paired them with Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola last year as the best coaches in world football. Bilic has spoken warmly of Bielsa at every opportunity following their duels during his time in charge of West Bromwich Albion, and this was Speaking to Croatian outlet Index.hr, Bilic said the difference between Bielsa, Conte and the rest of the world’s coaches was not talent, but their extreme will to win, to work and leave no stone unturned. "The difference between these great coaches and the rest of us is not in the talent,” he said. "They are crazy. It is questionable that it is talent at all, but they are crazy. “When you see Conte on television, he feels physical pain because of defeat. Such people work harder than others. “Klopp, Conte, Pep, Bielsa. They're crazy. You can't say, 'Well, I'm going to see Bielsa run the training, so I'll be like him.' “I talked to him, that's why I'm saying this. You can't write down in training what he does and expect you to win. That's why he's El Loco.
I'm not looking forward to this one. I just can't see us getting anything out of it. So Spurs 1-4 Leeds
From Bielsa’s presser still no Bamford or Ayling. Firpo and Shackleton need game time so more training and some 23s for them possibly? Gelhardt should play for the 23s today. So same team as Leicester which makes me quite happy considering how well we played. Think we can get something out of this game but we need to be at our best and not switch off/make silly errors as Kane and Son will punish us given half the chance.
is wakey the new Clive? if Leeds start at the pace they played at against Leicester, then you will find that Spurs will struggle ... they're not a quick team, prefer deliberate build ups and rely on out balls to Son ... Leeds can win, no doubt about that, they just need to play without fear ... the only thing will be new manager bounce, as it's Conte's first home game, and their players will want to prove themselves in front of a full house ... stay calm, attack Spurs wonky defence at every opportunity and all will be well
agree with that.....for me dier is as his name suggests, doherty isn't the fastest neither....go and strangle the cockerel
Tickets on the door for you Oldschool. Front row seats. I need a twat in the front row I can take the piss out of.

Good man, although I'm not that young. I also pay my taxes, it's a good thing to do if you're in the position to do so. Not really into gardening so that one's gone over my head I'm afraid.
Wtf is up with you? I've just suffered multiple pages on the politics thread where you were winding members up. I take a look on here and you're doing the same thing. Wind your fkn neck in and get a grip ffs! It's boring
