With United beating City, we have a real opportunity to extend the gap back between us and City to 8 points tomorrow. It's going to be an extremely tough game, and Spurs will be doing everything to ensure we don't win. But if we are serious about our chances of a title, we need to find a way to win tomorrow by any means necessary. Or, at the very least, ensure we don't lose.

Dropped by to say this is the game that first made me believe we can do it this year.

Yeah, board hasn't been as active over the past week - myself included, sorry! Been very busy recently.

What an incredible win it was, though <diva>. Haven't won there in 9 years and we won there relatively comfortably if truth be told. We quietened down the crowd fairly early on. Conte made the same mistakes he made in the first game. But I expected a lot more from Spurs in a NLD, especially when they knew it would mean we'd extend our lead at the top of the table.

Gabriel and Saliba were impervious. Ben White has really excelled at right back, which I never expected. Zinchenko's technical qualities and game intelligence are a joy to behold. Midfield were resilient, disciplined but progressed the ball well and counterpressed superbly. We were winning all the first and second balls. We forced a lot of turnovers from Spurs which allowed us to sustain pressure. Nketiah, despite his misses, led the line well, stretched the defence and won a lot of fouls high up the pitch. Odegaard orchestrated things perfectly - what a steal he was. Martinelli's pressing and relentless running was pivotal. Saka tore Sessegnon a new one.

Special mention to Aaron Ramsdale who made some magnificent saves and commanded his area at big moments when we needed to.

Overall, it was just a superb win at a ground we rarely do well at and we showed the different sides to our game - we're a multidimensional team with room to grow further.

8 points clear - roll on Man United <ok>
