No keepie uppies or theatrical injuries please. Time to start rotating as we have a lot of matches approaching. Not won at West Ham in the past 2 years. Hope Bentancur’s absence is just a precaution rather than a worrying injury. I didn’t see a replay of the incident when he got injured but the bench seemed concerned.
Hugo Sanchez, Dier, Davies Spence, Bentancur*, Hojbjerg, Perisic Kulu, Kane, Richarlison *Bissouma if there's the slightest concern Bentancur isn't right.
Before I can answer, I (still) need answers to the following : 1. How many changes can be made to the PL starting XI before tis called "wholesale" ?? 2. And when are such changes deemed to be "soon" ??
Pre-match conference (best audio quality found to date ) : Conte is suggesting that the combination of new players in + no real fixture congestion so far is the reason the games to date have not seen significant rotations in the starting XI.
Bissouma replaces Bentancur. Skipp comes back into the squad. Looking very light on the bench up front.
Pretty happy with that team...son often does well against them so hopefully can get his confidence going with a good performance. They will really be up for this do we'll need to start like we did against them at home last season. If we start like we did in the last two league games at their place then they'll do us...again!
I think they're just being lined up for moves, to be honest. Gil to Valencia is supposedly 99% done, while Moura's being linked to Galatasaray.
Really need Son on it too, I think he can feel very lucky to have started the last two games, he’s been a dead weight in every game this season and we can’t afford that in big games like this. Be the absolute ideal time for the proper Sonny to show up. Think Richarlison can feel very hard done by though, not the best signal to be performing well from the bench yet not getting rewarded with a start. He’ll probably start on the weekend but that’s out of rotation purposes, more so than actually on merit.
Delayed KO due to communications problem between the ref and a linesman, since when has that been a problem
