Wasn’t this the fixture that saw spurs leading 2-0 before eventually ending up a 3-3 draw that led to the infamous Conte rant aimed at Levy and the players that led to his dismissal?

    Can history repeat itself?

Couldn't ask for a better fixture to get back on track. Soon to be the worst premier league side ever who play a style which matches to yours perfectly.

I notice you're only win came against City who we're basically a poundland version of. Who'd have thought trying to play like City with one of the worst squads in the league would fail miserably?

You'd like to be calling this game a 'potential banana-skin', but unfortunately we approach it almost expecting defeat rather than just raising it as a possibility.

I don't think that Ange's comments post-match and yesterday have helped in any way, so it's difficult to see how he will turn around things in another 24 hours.

No chance of Storm Darragh's big brother hitting the south coast tomorrow is there? :emoticon-0138-think

We can tell you all about trying to play a particular style of football without the right players to play it! <laugh>

I'm surprised Ange is still the manager...can see this being being his final game as it was for for Hoddle and Conte.

The players can not or will not do what he requires so it'll only end up going one way

    Should label this game El-Crapico.

The saving grace for us is Southampton have actually won a game this season. We gave Palace and Ipswich their first wins of the season so I reckon we’ll manage a draw now in this.

Bizarrely both club's would probably be more suited to playing the others way.

Don't suppose you fancy taking Martin once you sack Ange do you? :bandit:

The 3-1 win at WHL which ended Hoddle was a real thing of beauty :)

I think you're underestimating just how bad we are this season though, I'm not exaggerating when I say we'll be taking Derby's record if we keep Martin.

Losing this would arguably be your worst league result in your modern history.

I shall be sipping an iced cold beer in Lanzerote with family and my daughters boyfriend, a die-hard Forest fan, who is joining us. Absolutely nothing could possibly go wrong with this at all......:emoticon-0167-beer: :bandit:

The missus just arranged for us to go out to friends tomorrow evening without consulting the schedule. I'd normally be fuming (petulantly <laugh>), but frankly I'm delighted I won't have to suffer watching!
Or maybe after 25 years she's taking pity on me! <cheers>

First there was Liz Truss v The Lettuce to see who survived the longest...
Now (on planet RCL) it's my cancer ridden cat v ange...my cat is living under a sideboard, has lost 20% of her body weight, can barely walk, and is housebound...I wouldn't put a penny on Ange to outlast her!

I would hope that Ange would freshen the team up tomorrow, but he so stubborn that i doubt it So Porro and Udogie who are both looking jaded will probably still start ahead of Spence and Regulion, someone has to come in for Bissouma and i expect that will be Maddison.

Forster, Porro, Gray, Dragusin, Udogie, Sarr, Maddison, Kulu, Johnson, Solanke and Son. If the players really want Ange to stay they will have show some heart and win the game, and I am confident that they will.......:emoticon-0127-lipss

You're just three points off matching Derby's total

    ...I shouldn't have said that, should I?

We simply have to win this, but it’s telling that many of us don’t have confidence that we will. Surely the Ipswich and Palace results can’t strike again?
Losing will see us having a 50% defeat record in the league this season (and we could end up being as low as 14th). That’s potentially grim reading, and I don’t see how Ange survives if we don’t get 3 points tomorrow.

Something that will make me lose complete faith in him (what’s left anyway) is if the team is more or less the same as Rangers.

Frankly the likes of Spence, Reguilon, Bergvall and possibly even Dorrington (allowing Gray into midfield) are needed to freshen it up, **** it, chuck Olusesi in too he’s a massive talent. We are sticking square pegs in round holes by continuing with the same jaded players.

I’d have a lot more respect, backing and sympathy if he actually showed a willingness to try new things and players than I would with what’s happening week in, week out. 1 win in 8… it’s not working Ange, ****ing change it.
