    It was a win, which was vital. At best it was an 'ok' performance, but SP gave us far more of a game than they should. We'll have to be significantly better against Dortmund.

    Positives are Xavi showing increased confidence and a good bite to his game, and Gray looking solid.

    Pape Sarr again failed to convince when he came on. He is a shadow of the energetic all action player he was looking to become.

    Very much a “job done” performance. Take that and onto the next.

    Quite annoyed we chose this game for Sonny’s return though, the legend deserved a packed stadium in a “big atmosphere”. Only 47k tonight to send off one of the clubs’ greatest ever players. Either way, god bless you, Sonny, and thank you for many unbelievable memories.
