    Wednesday 1st March 7.55pm

No injury news yet, but I doubt anything has changed.
    Neither side has any suspensions.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Davies; Kulusevski, Kane, Richarlison.
Subs: Austin, Porro, Tanganga, Sanchez, Sarr, Perisic, Danjuma, Son, Moura.
    League form: LWWLWW.

United: Foderingham; Ahmedhodzic, Robinson, Egan; Bogle, Fleck, Norwood, Berge, Lowe; Ndiaye, McBurnie.
Subs: Davies, Basham, Doyle, McAtee, Osborn, Sharp, Jebbison.
    League form: WDWLLW.

Ref: John Brooks returns from his suspension for being ****. VAR: Nope.

    TV: BBC1 and the iPlayer.

How would you like to line up for this one?

I wish Conte a full recovery and hope he takes a long and good rest to recuperate.

    Ugo Ehiogu. RIP.
    Roger Nilsen.
Sheffield United have had two players called Ben Davies, neither of which was our one.

This one came out of the blue to me, l hate the way they are pissing about with the FA Cup , l have no connection to Sheffield other than through work but I've found that most of those who support Wednesday are decent but the Utd side of Sheffield often have a screw loose and hate Tottenham with a passion
2-0 win for us and the new lads and Sarr hopefully get a run out
Edit : I hope McBurnie does himself a mischief in the 1st minute

Spurs have nigh on a month to prepare for this game,
whether Sheffield Itd or Wrexham were the opponent.

I expect a similar starting XI to the Portsmouth game,
    with the following considerations :

    1. Richarlison to start as the lead forward

    2. In the Milan game, Sarr + Skipp did not offer MF
creativity. So if Sarr is to start, who in the squad can
take the place of Skiipp to provide sufficient creativity ??

So I would start with at least these :

    Forster
    Tanganga Sanchez
    Porro
    Sarr
    Moura
    Danjuma
    Richarlison

Except Gill and Sess played, so not that similar.
Portsmouth are League 1. Sheffield Utd are championship, so I would like us to be a lot stronger.

Danjuma has never started for us so this isn't the time to try.
Dier is not playing next week's midweek game so he can play tomorrow.
PEH has got a great engine- played nearly all the games last season, so he plays for me .

    Forster,
    Porro, Romero, Dier, Lenglet, Perisic
    PEH, Sarr
    Kulu, Richarlison, Son

    Forster
    Sanchez, Dier, Tanganga
    Porro, Skipp, Sarr, Perisic
    Son, Richarlison, Danjuma

With a bit of luck Richarlison might actually be able to score a goal in this one.

If he plays in his favoured position he’s certainly got a better chance

was pivotal in both our goals on Sunday

    Pivotal is a bit extreme.

Though if he’s incapable of playing across the front three then it further highlights just what a pointless signing he’s been and especially a waste of money, because he’s never going to displace Kane.

    Indeed.
So the 'strongest possible weakest' starting XI
capable of getting the job done.

"Danjuma has never started for us so this isn't the time to try."

He has had 4 weeks to be coached/trained for this specific game
(if those in control seek to have him in the starting XI) .

Danjuma surely has to start this game, otherwise he won’t ever start another and it’ll be a waste of a potentially good signing, deserves the opportunity too seeing as Son’s horrendously out of form and Richarlison doesn’t know where the opposition goal is.

'pivotal' is doing a lot of heavy lifting there, mate! <laugh>

He certainly has to start and make his mark. But this is going to be a real scrap and we'll need battlers, rather than bottlers tomorrow. Hopefully he's up for it. :emoticon-0148-yes:

He does the stuff just before the assist...very important...ala Modric but from the LW

He's got more battle in his big toe than Son has in his whole body so I know he will be well up for it, cut from the same cloth as Romero is Richy
