Really does make you wonder why on earth Gazza was never first choice at Southampton. I mean has he just suddenly become a very good keeper since joining us or were Southampton just really stupid? Genuinely don't know.

They had a manager who got them to a cup final that they should've won and they finished 8th in the league.
They sacked him, nearly got relegated, sacked his successor and then hired Mark Hughes.
They also sold us Bale's add-ons for £2.5m and Tommy Forecast.

The weird thing is that he's been a known quantity to FIFA streamers since around 2014, as he was one of those hidden gems that everyone signed because his kicking stat made him the perfect backup GK

I saw Gazza play a number of times for Gillingham, he was only there one season arrived in Aug from Valencia as an unknown, no one knew anything about him and he was expected to be our reserve keeper, he only played 22 matches for the Gills which included the last 18 of the season, and he is probably the best goalkeeper I have seen at the club in 30 years I have been going there. But it was his distribution that really made him stand out, don't get me wrong he is good at the normal keeping stuff but his kicking was outstanding, and thats what for me made him the best . The saints signed him for the next season and as part of the deal Gills got the aforementioned Tommy Forecast talk about chalk & cheese!
