Hopefully we start Danjuma and Richarlison and give Sarr another go too. Wouldn’t mind Spence playing if he’s at the club but given he’s rumoured for a loan he may have gone or we may want to protect him. Forster probably to play as well.

Don't like the name Delap. Is he related to the fekker who killed Ledleys knee?

It's Liam Delap, son of infamous throw-in specialist Rory.
He's on loan at Preston from Man City. They nicked him from his dad's former club Derby.
I'm lead to believe that they're nothing alike as players, though I haven't seen enough of him to judge.

Strong side please, no mid week games either side no real need to rest too many, though I would consider giving Kane & Hojbjerg the weekend off as they play 90 mins so often and Kulu due to his recent return from injury.

Forster, Romero, Lenglet, Davies, Doherty, Bissouma, Bentancur, Sessegon, Gil, Richarlison, Danjuma.

I would like to see Kane rested as well but cannot see Harry passing off the chance to fill his boots and break the Greaves record

Go strong and get into the next round, we are not good enough to make wholesale changes and still perform, as has been proven before. There is no mid week game until the CL either so no reason to be resting anybody unless they have any kind of niggle.

Yeah I'd go pretty strong too.

Pointless including youngsters like Spence, Sarr and Gil because it won't make a difference to their future prospects for league games, just get them out on loan now, as should've been the case in the summer really.

    Forster
    Romero, Lenglet, Davies
    Doherty, Bissouma, Skipp, Perisic
    Kulusevski, Kane, Danjuma

Might make sense to give Sarr and Gil games considering the (completely unsubstantiated) scuttlebutt about Deki and Bentancur copping 30 day suspensions

Yes, we're into the point of people posting any old bollocks. See also: the Gazetta dello Sport claiming that we can no longer sign Deki and he'll be headed back to Juve no matter what, which spectacularly failed to notice Chelsea signing Kovacic while under a transfer ban because he was on loan there the previous season

Chances are that even if those rumours have any substance, Gil and Sarr still won’t be utilised unless another injury/ suspension occurs.

Richarlison and then Danjuma will be next in line to replace Kulu.

Bissouma and possibly Skipp will be next in line to replace Bentancur. Sarr may have a chance of usurping Skipp but even then he’d still be on the bench.

Far better we get them out now where they’re likely to get regular starts or even regular games off the bench.

This was the starting XI for the Portsmouth game :

    Forster
    Tanganga, Sánchez, Davies,
    Emerson Sarr, Skipp, Sessegnon
    Gil, Son, Kane

The above did not give a compelling performance, at home.
This time the game is away to an opponent that is one league higher.

    If ^Emerson ^Doherty, ^Kane ^Richarlison :

would you trust that starting XI to get the job done ??

Training video, complete with Son stroking Richarlison's hair, for some reason:

    Didn't notice any significant absences.

    Stellini’s confirmed Danjuma’s available.

Kane a slight doubt, played with illness vs Fulham and hasn’t trained this week apart from today.

I’d imagine Richarlison starts up front then.

Richarlison further confirming he’s certainly the front runner for flop of the season. If he’s not been compete toilet for us he’s been injured, today the latter it seems.

How does this club manage to waste so much bloody money?!

Davinson Sanchez captain too, what a time to be alive.
