The season before Norwich won at White Hart lane whilst, spurs took the points at Carrow road. The summer was dominated by talk of Gareth Baleâs transfer to Real Madrid which was eventually completed please log in to view this image

the day before the window closed, in that time however spurs had be revamping their whole team using the Bale money to bring in several top quality players. Despite this addition of talent spurs have so far failed to score from open play winning the opening two games of the season 1-0 with both goals scored from the penalty spot. Currently Spurs seem to be suffering from having made too many changes and are playing as a group of individuals and not as a team, as the new players bed in though they will no doubt become a very good team. Norwich city will hope that this has not happened during the international break, with many of the players away with their countries it may not have.

please log in to view this image Norwich have introduced several new players too and have had a varied start to the season. Good performances against Everton and Southampton were weighed against a poor performance against Hull. Nathan Redmond has been lighting up the Norwich attack but the star of the most recent game was Leroy Fer who managed to control the midfield.Norwich however also have a bedding in issue with Van Wolfswinkel, whilst Ricky has been showing his talent, the midfield has been struggling to take advantage of his excellent movement, hopefully this will come soon. Norwich also have Gary Hooper, injured in pre-season, still to come into the team and may be fit for the game against spurs but would likely come off the bench.

please log in to view this image please log in to view this image On the win against Southampton...âConfidence is good at the moment. Itâs always a nice feeling when you go into that international break on the back of a win,â On the International Breakâ¦âIt effects your week because some of the preparation youâd like to be getting on with youâre not able to do if thereâs key players missing, but itâs very much a question of making sure that the players that are here are looked after well.â

On Gary Hooperâ¦âHeâs fit, which is good news. Heâs trained this week, and our decision will be now how, when or if we use him this weekend.â On Spursâ¦âItâs always nice, itâs a special club. Itâs always a nice feeling, but the feelingâs always better if you can go there and perform well enough to get a result. Last season we put on a very good performance there and were perhaps unlucky to not come away with a win, but weâre up against a club and a team that have vastly strengthened over the summer.â On the Republic of Ireland jobâ¦âIt is absolutely just speculation. The things I can say is that Iâm manager of Norwich City Football Club, Iâm extremely happy here, we spent invested more this summer than the Club has ever done and Iâve had wonderful support from the board here.â

Hi Guys, this is something I'd been thinking of doing for a while but hadn't had the time to do, I'm posting it now mostly to give myself a chance to play about with it and get it right, so consider this a bit of a Beta test, hopefully by Thursday I'll have it looking right.
Looks pretty good to me. I'd have to agree with the line up, maybe Ollson in for Garrido, but otherwise unchanged from Southampton. I like the little graphic, nice touch.
I just used the same line up, I'm not great at predicting the line up, which I imagine RBF can prove imperially. I would like to see Olsson start too.
I am going to the game but I am sitting in the Spurs end which is a bit of a blow! Looking forward to it though.
Bump!, I think we'll draw in this game maybe even win, anyone else?, I'll be watching live on my telly in HD
@Bath-Canary Images aren't showing for me (and I have "Show attachments" ticked in General Settings). Anyone else having this problem?
All we need is for AVB to say we are on an irreversible downward spiral (like he did about Arsenal with about 6 games to go last season) and we'll come away with the points. He usually shows us a lot of respect though.
I don't know about a win but at the very least we will get a draw. Lots of fans getting doomy and gloomy because Spurs have spent 100million on players!
I think it's more a case of people thinking "Spurs have spent £100m on players and have so far looked pretty crap so sooner or later they are going to click and someone is going to be on the wrong end of a hiding". At least that's what I fear may happen.
If I'm being completely honest, I'd not previously heard of any of Paulinho, Chadli, Capoue, Lamela or Eriksen before this summer so whilst they cost lots of money and supposedly come with good reputations, to me they are just names at the moment. This is probably due to me not having as good a grasp of the continental game than others - which in turn is also probably due to me not having played Football Manager for a few seasons - so I'm sure some of you will be able to tell me that they are actually terrific players that they have brought in who will set the Premiership alight. I hope this doesn't commence on Saturday, but my fear is that it perhaps might.
There's a bit of hope for this game, they're not quite clicking yet and got 2 wins because of penalties. Hopeful of a win, but would take a draw now.
I think we need to go there and set up defensively ( don't kill me ). Looking at the way AVB is looking to play a lot of emphasis on the counter attack and having a solid unit in the middle, if we don't over exert ourselves early and can keep it tight hopefully we can frustrate them into committing a man too many and leave space for redmond et al to pounce. Easier said than done of course but I think we shouldn't be pressing them too much and frustrating them by offering them little to commit men to.
In contrast, I think we should go on the offensive. Spurs have spent big, but as a result they have yet to demonstrate they are a team. Also, they haven't changed for the better at the back and in our games at WHL in the last two seasons Pilks has given Walker a torrid time. On the other flank Snodgrass and Whittaker will be up against Naughton and new boy Chadli. If Vertonghen hasn't fully recovered from the injury that led to him coming off against Scotland, I think they will be even more vulnerable. Psychologically Spurs try to think of themselves as a big force and all the money spent this summer adds to the weight of expectation. But underneath I think they lack confidence (as too does AVB). That's something to play on if we can.
