Bissouma returns from his suspension, but Bentancur still has one more game out after this one. Lineups for each side's last league game: Spurs: Forster; Spence, Dragusin, Gray, Udogie; Sarr, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Maddison, Son; Solanke. Subs: Austin, Porro, Dorrington, Hardy, King, Olusesi, Johnson, Werner, Lankshear. League form: LWDLLW. Man Utd: Onana; de Ligt, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Fernandes, Ugarte, Dalot; Diallo, Hojlund, Mount. Subs: Bayindir, Lindelof, Yoro, Malacia, Casemiro, Mainoo, Antony, Eriksen, Zirkzee. League form: WDWLLW. Ref: John Brooks. Still no VAR for this round, apparently. TV: Sky Sports. How would you like to line up for this one and how do you think we actually will line up?
Won't happen, but I'd like to see us set up in a 4231 which I think gets the most out of Son and Maddison and also gives us more stability in midfield. Forster Spence Dragusin Gray Udogie Sarr Bissouma Kulusevski Maddison Son Solanke
I would imagine both sides will go strong this is probably both teams best chance of a trophy this season, and I will be there ticking Man U off of the list of teams that I have seen play a competitive match. Which will only leave Liverpool & Bromley out of the 92 clubs in the top 4 leagues and I am seeing Bromley in a couple of weeks.
Same XI that started vs Southampton but Porro in for Udogie as I doubt the latter has 90 mins in him after going off injured. Feels inevitable though he’ll drop Spence after his performance and run the risk of Udogie getting a longer injury… because that’s just who he is, mate.
Tbf to Ange, the Romero injury was completely different to the one (toe) that kept him out. That was just unlucky.
That was the claim. But when an athlete isn't 100% and still feeling discomfort in one part of their body, it is almost inevitable that they will compensate by putting extra strain on other parts. The extra burden of effort has to be compensated for somewhere. So it isn't at all uncommon that they don't run or turn quite as naturally as they normally would, which makes injuries elsewhere that little bit more likely. As for Micky, pure stupidity.
I think it was a risk (ultimately didn’t pay off as both got injured and Spurs lost anyway) but football is fine margins and you have to take risks (within reason), sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t. It’s just how it is
Completely agree but the judgement on how big the risk was should be made by the medical team. Ange can then decide if it is worth taking but if they said it was a very high risk then Ange was wrong to take it and I think that would be a very big mistake. I doubt that happened though.
So the official reason for Reguilon not being used in the last week or two is he was having his wisdom teeth removed Definitely not because the club told him to find somewhere else to play this season and he didn't
United won't be as awful as they were earlier in the season ... with both teams being really hit and miss it's either gonna be a classic goal fest or....well...you can work out the rest
