Sissoko at RWB and scoring a 35 yard belter in the 92nd minute to win the match, rips off his shirt which has another one underneath saying "Chill, I got this". Carlsberg don't do...
Craig Shakespeare had the following to say about us: "Defensively, Spurs are similar to Manchester City. They have progressed and are very good on and off the ball." Has he even glanced at the 'goals conceded' column of the table?! I do believe we have uncovered the true identity of AKCJ. Incredible.
If his planning is around the fact that we are like City defensively, then don't disabuse him of that idea!
Last time I checked, our defence wasn't built around a mid-table player being paid a title-chaser's salary, a walking card magnet, two aging full backs unsuited to the style of play the manager wants and a goalkeeper who surely has to be trolling the rest of his team. Other than that, a spot-on analysis!
Harry Kane is 2 behind Lukaku in the Golden Boot chase. Want him to get it again. 'Tis my only remaining goal for this season
Why are we wanting fringe players to start? Sorry but fringe players need to stay in cups longer if they want games to show their skills. I want the first team to start, they've got nothing else happening. I want us to try to be leading goalscorers. I want us to maintain our tight defensive record. I dont fancy getting hammered like last season.
By "similar" , I guess he means both all season have conceded more than one goal, lost at least one game, and have kept at least one clean sheet.
And Alli needs 3 goals to get into the 20s, Eriksen 2 goals to get into the 10s. Plenty of motivation there for three attacking players in the final two games.
It really looks like Sissoko will get a start: Dier will have to play right back (or in a back three) and it's being claimed that Dembele's being rested for the Hull game, and that basically means the options to partner Wanyama come down to Sissoko or throwing one of the Development squad in at the deep end.
We're playing fringe players cos we have 4/5 first choicers out injured. No choice!! It's really just the formation that's up for grabs. But in better news...... Both Huth & Morgan miss the game for Leicester, so there should be fewer stray elbows flying towards Harry & Dele!!
Which interview? And yes, unless we start winning major trophies sharpish (within the next 2 years), I think he'll leave too. The comfort is that a player signed for £5m will comfortably break the transfer record when he does go, and may well become the first player sold for over £100m. I'm sure the players understand how hard next season will be for everyone at the club, and I hope that they have the foresight to stick around for what will hopefully be a very special 2018-19 season. However, it is imperative that our target next season is top 4 plus a trophy. Preferably FAC as it is more prestigious than the LC. These players need to smell silverware to prove that this club really is 'going places'.
You're forgetting that our reserve centre halves are Yohan Benalouane and Marcin Wasilewski. It took the coaches 18 months to get Benny to calm the **** down in training because he's a proper nut case. We didn't want to risk him because he'd have been a walking red card. Wasyl is a monster and opposition faces are attracted to his elbow. If Kane or Alli are ever a little bit slow and leave a foot in then expect them to be kicked into the middle of next week. Oh and we're also missing Drinkwater.
I think Spurs will relax into this one, knowing that the title challenge has gone. Leicester are more resolute under Shakespeare, but they are not a patch on your lot. You only need the draw to secure second spot, and I think you are more than good enough for that, especially as Leicester's players have nothing to play for other than to showcase their skills to potential buyers.
Already have got second place secured. I guess no one knows how this game will go. Being rivals last year might add a little edge, but probably get a training match.
So you have! Don't know why I would suggest otherwise! In which case, I think you should turn them over. With the players you've got playing without fear and having a bit of fun, I can imagine the Foxes being extremely nervous!!
