The first was caused by poor defending allowing a 3 on 1 overlap down the left, then a failure to effectively close down Chukwueeze. The unlucky bit was the icing on the cake.

This is where we need to start being more ruthless.

Too many players we spend years sitting around waiting for them to show that they can play consistently to a high standard. Vicario, Bentancur, Romero, Johnson, Sarr. The list is significant and only growing with each transfer window.

Arsenal spent good money on Ramsdale. Gave him two seasons to show his worth. He didn't. So they sacked him off and signed Raya instead. We need to do the same.
