Palhinha probably shouldn't have been playing at all as he mysteriously avoided a red card in his previous match!

I feel like this comment probably applies after virtually every one of his games.
He's on 12 yellows for Fulham plus a couple for Portugal and somehow hasn't picked up a red.

The art of getting away with murder as a holding midfielder appears to involve speaking Portuguese.
No idea how that works.
