Impossible to predict as we're so bloody hit and miss at the moment. I'd be much more confident knowing Bentancur is fit to start and Skipp is at least in the squad but that remains to be seen. United and West Ham have City and Liverpool away respectively in this round of fixtures, which means in theory this could be a crucial chance to start reeling them in - especially as we go to Very Old Trafford next and play West Ham in 2 weeks time. Which of course means in practice we will find a way to balls it up. Guaranteed.
There's six days between the Boro game and this one, so we'll see if the theory about we only perform if we have a 5+ day turnaround carries any water...
Not sounding good RE Skipp. Feels a little reminiscent of Lamela's injury a few years back where a few weeks turned into half a season and some of the following... pray that ain't the case though with Skipp. We really need him back.
I think we all know how this finishes and the only question is, when Dele scores the winner will he celebrate?
As somebody *ahem* helpfully mentioned 2-3 weeks ago, his groin got infected during rehab so it makes sense to play it safe
Someone needed too , how many times have our players injuries dragged on for them to finally need an operation
I don't know. It's a strange comment and one that I don't think needed to be made publicly. If our medical staff aren't up to scratch, then we can replace them or improve them. If it's a communication issue, then the club can change the way we do things. Taking jabs at them in press conferences? How is that helpful? What does it achieve?
Oliver Skipp is frustrated over his delayed return to action but he does not blame the Spurs medical team. The injury is healing – slowly – and patience is needed by the 21-year-old and Antonio Conte.
It goes to show the demise of Dele by the amount he has been talked about since joining Everton , mostly about the loss of GLC and Ndombele I suppose this means on his return he will turn up like peak 2017 Dele
Won our last league game so I’m afraid we’re ****ed tonight cup losses don’t count, they are just bonuses for us
