Hugo Romero, Dier, Lenglet Spence, Bissouma, Skipp, Bentancur, Perisic Kane, Richarlison Give Hojbjerg a break, Son on the bench where he’s made his best impact so far and have Spence’s speed on the flank to actually get down that right hand side and do something rather than see the Brazilian RB version of Harry Winks.
When was the last time we won an away game in Europe? I know it was down to being europa/conference so main players were rested but its pretty shocking.
Tbh I think Romero needs a rest too. Still doesn't look 100% right and might still be playing through that injury. We have plenty of cover there so let's use it instead of running him into the ground. Kulu straight back in the team if he's fit.
Totally agree re Sanchez or even Tanganga for Romero, and Kulu is still out apparently. I do think we might see 3-5-2 tomorrow with Skipp starting for either Richarlison or Son.
Not sure what kind of Spurlock turning up tonight It’s not easy supporting twice a week plus if I’m not sitting in my favourite position on the couch…i might struggle to be at my best
The struggle is real , we have a new couch and I cannot get the arse crease exactly right , I've tried box sets of better call Saul and breaking bad but nothing works so far
We played on Saturday, had a man sent off and lost and he makes 0 changes? Not impressed. Not impressed, at all.
Emerson at least makes sense, given he won't feature at the weekend, but at this point it feels like SKipp and Bissouma will only get regular times when one of Hojbjerg or Bentancur inevitably get injured
Inclined to disagree. Both Doherty and Spence need game time so they can be better prepared to step up on Saturday and over the next few weeks (if not longer if Royal doesn't automatically return after suspension).
I’d say Emerson starting tonight means neither Doherty or Spence play on Saturday, as Perisic will just be moved over and the amazing Sess will play LWB
Conte really confusing me atm. Emerson is definitely going to miss the next league game so you’d think that Spence and/or Doherty would have got significant minutes tonight so they are sharper unless he doesn’t plan on starting either at the weekend
