Would have a sniper in the stands to take out any gooner in our half. It's the only way we don't lose.

Plot twist, the sniper is Sessegnon, can’t hit a damn thing.

    We lose.

For the first time in a very, very long time, I am absolutely dreading this fixture. More so than under Nuno when I had zero expectations and was just waiting for his inevitable sacking.

Our injury list is insane and questions surely (again) need to be asked of our physio team. So many supposedly "minor" issues seem to keep our players out for weeks if not months on end. It's been a problem for as long as I can remember and part of it seems to be the length of time it takes us to ascertain what is actually wrong with the player in the first place.

Even if Bentancur and Kulu miraculously recover, they will be rusty.

Can only see this heading one way I'm afraid, sorry to be so bleak.

I'd take a draw and run.

I'm going to go back to when I was 15 and forge a note from my mum (bloody difficult as she was a leftie and had handwriting like a drunken GP with the yips) saying I've got a migraine and go to the pub instead.

    A draw? A fecking draw?? <grr>
    Think yourself lucky for a draw! I'd run with a semi-creditable 1 or 2 goal defeat! <laugh>

I'm surprised at how negative/downbeat most of you are heading into this fixture. In the NLDs, usually, it's the home team who wins more often than not. And we have an awful record away at Tottenham.

Honestly, if this was at The Emirates, I'd probably be expecting a win. But away at your stadium? I am never, ever confident.

Even in times (decades) gone by when we were regular title challengers, and Spurs weren't as good, we didn't exactly get great results at White Hart Lane. We used to draw a lot from what I remember, although I was a kid so I might be remembering wrong.

The atmosphere is going to be like a cauldron and, with us top of the league, I know for a fact the Spurs' fans and players will be doing everything they can to ensure we drop down the table as quickly as possible. Plus, Kane would love nothing more than to get level/break Greaves' record against us, and I can foreshadow him bagging at least once.

Might sound a bit defeatist of me, but I would absolutely snap your hand off for a draw. I hate this fixture so much and a draw would represent a marked improvement on what happened last season...

Everything points to a Woolwich win sadly, but there is many a slip `twixt the cup and the lip, hopefully our lot can turn up for 90 mins for once and we get a proper refereeing performance.

I`d love us to wipe that smug smile off Sharteta`s face, I can`t stand the bloke, he is a grade A tool, the bloke is almost as bad as Klopp and is straight from the Arsene Whinger school of selective vision, berating officials, poncing around on the touchline and pressurizing referees into decisions, it is time he was knocked down a peg or two. He really does have a face I would love to punch, and he looks like a cross between a thunderbirds character and a lego man.

I am also in the "don't humiliate us" camp.

Settle for a good performance. Not wanting to tempt fate, but Xhaka hasn't had his usual number of sending offs recently. About due?
