I just wish that supporters of that travesty of a Football club would **** right off. Half of then were probably wearing red & white until a couple of years ago. When your joke of a club (whose wage bill is bigger than their entire turnover) are forced to compete on the same footing as everybody else - Let's see how you do then
I've always disliked ARSEnal. However, at least I have respect for them. This bunch, I despise, and have zero respect for.
It looks like we have another supporter who will post something provocative and disappear without answering. Leave him to his fantasy that City will do anything next season because they won't. If Mancini leaves then it's chaos there.
Trust me, Luke. To ****ty's owners, those sums are **** all. I just hope that these new rules actually have some teeth, so that The ****tys' and Chavskis' of the world can't just hire an army of smart-arse lawyers to drive a bus through them. If the rules don't bite, then I genuinely fear for the future of the game in this country. These people, especially ****ty, have enough financial muscle to eventually buy every title going.
A team can buy expensive players but it doesn't mean they will perform. If a team loses a couple then doubts can set in and players lose confidence. I would take a confident lower team to beat an under confident higher team all the time. For instance(for argument's sake) if City were third and failing and WBA were fifteenth and climbing after a little run of good results I would take the latter to beat the former because of confidence. You can talk all day about wealth but look at Torres at Chelsea.
The point being, Thor, is that ****ty have so much financial clout, that even if it goes wrong for a while, unless stopped, they would just keep on throwing money at it until they bought whatever they wanted. It's called the "**** against the wall theory" Particularly apt, in this case
Ensil. At least you know he's a genuine Manc, as he spells phonetically Luke. I would just repeat my point. There may be no current power shift, in Mancheater, or in the Prem, generally. We will see when the new season begins. However, if they are allowed to continue unchecked, then trust me, it's just a matter of time (and lots of money, of course!)
Probably, Sami. If that's an example of the general standard of intelligence and literacy of ****ty fans, then I'm glad I don't venture onto their board.
Luke said We as in Man Utd and that Man Utd fans look at City like they look at Spurs. Not title challengers but able to win a cup. Or maybe he is finally admitting he is a Spurs fan.
No,he said that Utd look at City the same as we look at Spurs. So is Luke Arsenal? But who really cares?
I don't think that there is another Ensiluokkainen ANYWHERE in the world let alone on the football forums so no wonder he's on here. He challenges your intellect and you murder him every time. Please maintain the status and don't run out of repartee.
I actually have no problem with the Manufactured City WUMs. It's going to be real funny when, despite another season of spending grotesque sums of money they still cannot buy the PL or the CL. They obviously use Chelsea as their model, and are looking to emulate that club's "buy-your-way-to-glory" policy since the mad Russian's arrival. However, what the classless £ity fans have evidently forgotten is that Chelsea was already doing pretty well in the PL before the Russian's arrival, and that they already had a fairly sound set-up and a solid European presence and a good worldwide reputation. £ity still have nothing, except for their rich Arab playboy owner's bottomless wallet. Tasteless. Classless. Gloryless. They should adopt that as their new club motto
We should start a "banned from ja 606 club" I expect we've got a few potential members here, already.
A terrible attempt at wummery op. You even write with with that ill-educated accent. Ah well here's something you may understand; I'll keep it simple: Fook off.
I'm guessing the word "should" is missing somewhere from his sentence also. All in all a typically poor effort at WUMming with literacy levels that make Michigan look articulate.
Players signed by Spurs this summer: Brad Friedel Players signed by City this summer: N/A By that logic, you should be worried.
