I know this has been mentioned ad nauseum but I wanted to weigh in.

I've had the opportunity to watch our last few games over here on the old telly. Defensively we look very solid and difficult t break down. But it makes for a boring game to watch because we have nothing in attack.

I really like Gus, but I can't understand why he plays people out of position instead of using the few players with any creativity. They sit on the bench and must be seriously frustrated.

Why play Connor out wide and have Giach and Buckley on the bench? It just doesn't make sense. I realize we don't have the most talented squad but we do have a little bit of quality that we could use. If we don't give them an opportunity then they will never get the confidence level up.

Don't get me wrong, I love my team, I just want them to be more competitive in attack.

Totally agree mate. I scratch my head most of the time when I see his latest line up.

We have lads back from injury who can excite, create and have a direct impact on the game yet are not only warming the bench, but don't even get on the pitch to cause an impact.

I find myself asking, "Why did we buy these players?" Gus also tells us they are sharp in training, so what's the problem ?

I would like to see him go with a 4-1-3-2 formation:

    Rev-Oshea-verging-RVP
    Catts
    Johnson - Alvarez - Giach
    Fletcher-Defoe

It's gotta be better than this 8-1-1 system we're playing at the minute.

My thoughts exactly, we must play with 2 CD's with our current defenders and have an all out 4 man attack in front of them. At home our full backs need to get forward whenever possible, with the 2 CD's covering their backs, away from home we may need to be more cautious. We can jig around with combinations forever, but our real problem is the lack of creative thinking during the game itself, from both Gus and the players.
