Hate to start a new thread about the twat but how ridiculous did he look celebrating with the fa cup - said he wanted to move to win trophies - i suppose he may win trophies and he gets to watch all the big games from the best seats in the ground - and he doesn't have to worry about being disturbed during the game except for the odd jog down the touchline

Torres Spent half an hour with the lads in LFC dressing room rather than celebrating with his own team allegedly

I don't get why he did that (if he did). I would be well pissed off and kick him out. He left us and may have made a difference to our season if he had stayed so don't come all gracious, you let us down.

If that's how he wants to win medals, good luck to him. I don't see how any professional could value a medal handed to him after a game he didn't take part in, but - at least he was able to raise a smile, something he hasn't done for quite some time.

i sincerely doubt torres spent a half hour in the lfc dressing room after the game. i would want to hear from a player or two to see if that really occured. PErhaps a twitter muppet like shelvey or lucas might mouth about it.

There is zero way mr torres could have gotten away with it from his own team mates.

There was a sign at a barca x real match right after Figo had switched that said " We hate you so much, because we loved you so much"

That pretty much sums up my thought process with Torres.

You notice a lot of things. Yet, you never notice to compliment me on what I'm wearing.

My god are you sad lot still going on about Torres.
How coud he have helped you this season when he wasn`t even a Lfc player at the start?
Show a bit more dignity like us Utd fans with Ronaldo, he has left to join his boyhood club.
Torres even used to wear a secret Chelsea armband i`ll have you know.
Anyway at the end of the season he has picked up a better trophy than Stevie G and finished above him in the league, so good move if you were Torres.

Paul Ince and Mark Hughes got treated like **** when they went to OT with other clubs.<laugh>

But fair play for building a statue of a man that backheeled Utd into Division 2.

    <ok>

    Wum Fail

Was just thinking similar, though you should read your posts before you talk of dignity, and then look it up, you have 0.

Torres is a distant memory but lucky for us there chum, pal, with us he was the worlds No1 striker and not the 2 goals a season 50m striker you paid for who earned a FA cup final winners medal by sitting on a bench, in fact there is not one member of not606 who couldn't do that too:) Nando knows only too well himself he's earned nothing yet

At least we spent the money, small clubs like Arsenal don't do that. <whistle>

funny when your lot have entire teams come and go without winning fk all<ok>

Can see Wenger this summer hanging around european schools in the afternoon looking for new players with a bag of lollies and a sack of promises of trophies

Whoa calm down BBF, i seem to remember lots of LFC posters bragging about how many WC winners they had in the team, although they had only sat on the bench.
It`s funny how fans like to change things to fit their own glory.

I wasn't aware we signed him on a eighteen month contract...

Point being, remains to be seen if he's the second worst buy ever. His showing in the final suggests otherwise when his mentality is in check.

I am looking forward to seeing him next year now. We will probably buy a forward in the summer especially if Kuyt and/or Maxi go. But I wouldn't be too concerned if it wasn't a big name...someone small time a la Ba/Cisse would do just great and is achievable. <ok>
