i reckon , but to be honest i think hes looked better over the last 5 or 6 weeks, been contributing to games without scoring...
now the goals are coming, just in time for the euros too, good news for spain, might not be for others...

People will never learn to judge not so quickly. He's clearly a brilliant player who was in a bad patch. It has happened to all the very best players, I remember Lineker and Owen regularly going in excess of 10 games without scoring.

 

We had sonko and cooper at the back !

 

It was a long bad patch though. Lets see how he plays against better opposition.

he had a stinker when he came on. Everybody said and then he got the breakaway goal at the end which anybody could have scored.

I disagree with this. His first touch from the clearance was exceptional. If he'd had even an average touch he wouldnt have been able to break away as he did.

yes but moments earlier he had lost the ball in a dangerous place. Ray 'nice guy' wilkins even said he was having a mare before the goal.
