Saw Man C v Chelsea on the box last night and was mystified by Torres.

How can he expect to score if he doesn't attack the six yard box? Probably one of the worst performances I have seen from a centre forward.

What's the point of attacking the 6 yard box when the balls not going there?

Alternatively, why cross balls to the 6 yard box if you know your CF won't be there :p

This season Torres has been getting better by the game IMO! His contribution to the team has been at the expense of personal glory!Unfortunately, few of the team produced the necessary when it really mattered, but with JT sidelined and Ivanovic going cronk early on, we still came closer than anyone of getting a result at their place!

He hasn't looked "bad" in any Chelsea game I've seen this season, apart from scoring, but his decision making in front of goal was clearly compromised, and that alone is enough to bench a striker IMO.

Link up play is fine and all but when you play a lone striker you need him to make the right decisions at the right moments, and have some confidence to go with it. Work rate shouldn't matter much in a striker.

Do you think we should abandon the lone striker and put 2 up front ?? Neither Drogs or Torres has functioned well in a lone role. Torres is getting the wrong (or no ) service, Drogs has lost his first touch.

Play Torres & Sturridge then. Drogba does not want to be on the same pitch as Torres in case the prima-dona gets shown up.

Not sure about the 3 at the back mate & Luis has to play imo.
