I know what your saying it was a no win situation for him and to some extent i agree with you, but what do you think would have happened if it went down to penalty's? do you think he should/would have taken one.........

I know he gets paid more per year than I'll ever make in a lifetime but put the money thing aside; it can't be easy being jeered every time he even touches the ball and that's before the media even get involved, it's not like he deserves it cos he slept with another players wife, or a 102 year old prostitute, or he tweets random bollocks, or he's racially abused people, he's a good player that pretty much everyone is having a good old circlejerk about every time he fails cos they're scared he might find his form again. His confidence must be at an all time low and that's not nice for anybody.
