Lined up alongside Mata & Sturridge, having these two next to him is the best two from our team he can have to support him, if he still can't show any glimpses tonight or score then it's worrying, but lets see how he gets on though and hopefully he has a great game with a goal or 2 and we get a great confidence boosting win, like the look of the team aswell bar malouda, would rather have josh playing.
    Full lineup and subs :
Chelsea: Cech, Bosingwa, Ivanovic, Luiz, Cole, Mikel, Sturridge, Malouda, Meireles, Mata, Torres. Subs: Hilario, Lampard, Ferreira, McEachran, Kalou, Alex, Anelka.

I'd say he earned his wages tonight. Nice to see him play the entire 90 minutes. Lets hope he keeps going forward like this.

Hmm i didn't know what to make really, was 2 great assists but at 60minutes i'd say sturridge was threatening more and playing better than torres and torres should of been the one to make way, good assist near the end aswell totally unselfish and they both had a very good game as did luiz and mata once again, mata really is one of the best signings we've ever done, same with Luiz but once again was quite lucky not to get sent off. They aint bad Leverkusen either, very good defensively and there keeper made some very good saves

i also thought that mikel played really well, breaking up the opposition's attacks and setting up our own with a speed that we don't usually get. really good performance overall i felt, in what was a tough game against a good team

Mikel was top draw, MOTM I'd say. We seemed the fall behind late in the 2nd half AGAIN which if we do at OT we'll get ripped apart, if our front 3 play like that regularly though, I think we have a real world class attacking force in our mercenary :). Lampard impressed coming off the bench for me too, I'd play Mikel, Ramires and Meireles/Lampard against United with the same 3 up top as today and Terry instead of Ivan.

To be honest as long as win i couldn't give a **** about what the team looks like, them mancs are getting so cocky it's unreal " the titles in the bag " it's been 4 ****ing games, obviously it aint going to happen but i'd really love to beat em about 4-0 with torres getting a hat-trick to shut the ****ers up, don't think they'd say another word for a while lol we can dream aye. Best thing is were improving with every game, created many chances tonight and could of had 5/6 goals and we looked so fast in the first half, sturridge is just great as well, booming with confidence and them 2 long shots he done were so close and the other one there keeper managed to save. O well roll on sunday !! Hopefully benfica give them mugs in red a hard and brutal game tomorrow as well

Bosingwa still needs to defend better and his crossing was dreadful, but overall liked the way we played Brana at right back Sunday and use the speed up front and in the midfield
