It's like starting a game on football manager as Chelsea... yes the money is good and you can attract any player you want.... but when the Liverpool job becomes precarious you have to click "Show interest in job" regardless of the position as your heart is telling you to take it. I hope Torres does still want to be Liverpool's number 9, I hope this decision is tearing him apart. The problem is, is that even if this were the case he'd still score 20-30 a season for Chelsea
..........in his heart he only cares about the Champions League or finishing first in the EPL Chelsea are unlikely to finish first this year, so Torres isn't putting the effort in in the league. I always thought he had the same problem when playing for 'pool. He would put in match winning performances against clubs like Utd and Real, and then disappear against Stoke or Birmingham. He practically admitted as much when he said he was going to Chelsea to try and win the CL.
