Apaarently I hasten to add. You happy with that amount or would you like a bit more? Good/Bad deal? How do you see yourselves doing without him?

£48m is ok as long as we get a replacement. It's double what we paid for him and he doesn't want to be here

48m is great plus 6m for babel minus 23m on Saurez = 31m profit plus no more debt to service and a great set of youth players coming through. Good Times!

ALLWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE!!!!

If these figures are true and Liverpool are allowed to spend it on players, happy days for u guys. Pity Torres couldn't have asked for the move a few days ago so deals could have been worked out. Makes you wonder about who was motivating him during this transfer window

He has been begging to join the INVINSIBLES as he wants to be a part of our 2011 treble winning squad, but Sir Alex doesn`t think he would get a game at United because he would be fifth choice striker.

Would fergie honestly pick Rooney over Torres? Torres has been "off form" like Rooney this year but has scored nearly 5 times as many goals

Hypothetically, Torres would be competing with Berbatov, who has looks the better of the two by miles this season.

I'm sorry but isnt calling Chelsea "the invinsibles" a bit disrespecting to the Arsenal Squad of 2003 and 2004? They were the "invincibles " going 49 games unbeaten. Chelsea lost on the 5th of January. They are therefore 4 games unbeaten... PMSL

    49 > 4 :O

oh and if you ment Manure. 28 Unbeaten. Not bad but 49 > 28.... Not quite there just yet... XD
