Being as torquay played us off the park earlier in the season i really hope waddock picks a strong midfield in this game ,we dont want to be chasing a game from 2 nil down for the third week running.i expect blooms to be back in the middle and ainsworth to come back in on the right.jp had his chance to shine on saturday but again flattered to decieve when given a start. beever must start the game ahead of jp simply because of the effort he puts in,on saturday when jp moved out wide he just sulked and disapeared for the rest of the game.hopefully we will take a decent following to plainmoor and get behind the lads from the start and hope that the team realise there is a first half to the game and perform for the whole game and not just45 minutes.
Have a great time in Torquay Rocky (even if we don't get the 3 points we so badly need). If we do get all 3 I guess you'll be making a fantastic week-end out of it (and anyone else who's going).
Oh dear. Sounds like we could have received another pasting but for Bull and woodwork. Presumably relieved to come away with 1 point. Can't help but wonder why Torquay aren't in the auto spot.
we were thankful to bully for keeping a clean sheet yet again with a few stunning saves in the second half.leon johnson was awesome again and he is back to his best now and big dave looked good alongside him.foster had another mare he kept passing the ball straight back to the gulls and looked out of sorts yesterday.sandell looked dodgy defensively and didnt really do much going forward.the midfield never got to grips with the game and we were always on the back foot.i dont know what the stats say but it seemed like the ball was always in our last third of the pitch and the woodwork saved us twice .as for up front we never looked like scoring at all and rendell won nothing in the air all afternoon.waddock set up for a draw and thats what we got but we were very lucky to get it.5 stars to the 500+ blue army who made a lot of noise and deserved a better performance from the team.
i forgot to say what a disgrace from former player zebroski,he was diving every chance he got and his performance would have got maximum points in the olympic diving pool,he deservedly got dogs abuse from the chairboys fans every time he got near us.
zebroski has a habit of diving nothing new,i dont like any player who does that,a shame because he caused your defence a few problems. On a sadder note, all gulls fans liked scotty rendell, and were gutted when he didnt join us,we were also upset that him and the wife lost the baby at christmas, but on one of our forums it has been stated he has put a message up on twitter that derogatory remarks were made to him about the tragic loss of their baby,if this is true and i suspect it is,i can only apologise to him and your club if this is the case,we sadly like all clubs do have a minority of half baked psychopathic imbeciles, torquay will investigate this for sure and weed out the turd and ban them for life, decent bloke is scotty he nor anyone deserves evil crap like that
cheers mate i did hear about the rendell thing on twitter and its out of order but as you have said there are a few morons supporting every club and it happens in football but that doesnt make it right.we could meet again in the play offs yet so he unfortunately might have to put up with more of that sort of abuse.
cheers rocky, but there is real anger brewing amongst our fans regarding scottys disgusting treatment, the culprit will be found and dealt with thats for sure, all said and done its just a football match, how anyone can relate the loss of a child to footy is beyond most of our comprehension,i will update on here our findings, lets hope this creature is bought to account, the club will not tolerate this cruel wicked sick behaviour from anyone
