Carry on like this and Maynard will be walking... Can we not just have a clean sheet once! The defence will be getting no confidence from these games. Really need to get some decent experienced blood in there. Ribero was injured again last night, hope he comes through but so fragile
Starting 11...James,Nyatanga,Carey,Edwards,Elliott,Woolford,Taylor,Reid,Bolasie,Ball and Johnson...Pitman warming up......Kilkenny on for Johnson.....Skuseeeee for Louis...
6 goals given away to 3 lower opposition sides, only friendlies but still not very good... http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2393310,00.html
I know millens been saying he will be bringing in 2 season long loans in defensive positions but id be happier with signings! On a more interesting note andre landell a trialist from wolves scored a brace for us today, from what ive found out he is an attacking midfielder who scored a number of goals for wolves youth team he also scored in a trial for west brom recently.
Multiple usernames - Yes we lost to a League 2 side , fair and square but you will be playing them week in week out because of your failings last season. We always have the last laugh knowing you will be playing in the bottom tier of english football once again.
Hi Argyle fan here ,just read your comments on the two friendly results, having gone to both games would just say don't read much into results of friendlies given the ammount of substitutions made.In fact Torquay played a whole new team in the second half yesterday. At least you have two excellent goalies,David James pulled off a couple of great close range saves yesterday, although the different combinations of defence in both games looked shakey to say the least.Just a word on Bollasie, did'nt get into the game yesterday-he is very much a hot and cold player, but you have got a great buy,he can be a terrific impact player when losing or drawing. All the best, hope we can get some promotions soon to renew our westcountry battles.
Thank you Argyle fan, pre-season friendlies mean diddly squat, My local town Dorchester just played Yeovil and beat them 4-1 which means nothing, as when the 'real thing' kicks off Yeov will be back to their normal form of a bottom third of the league team and Dorch will just miss out on relegation again!
