team in 6th = 72 points

team in 21st = 48 points

BCFC need 29pts to survive and 53 to go to playoffs.....

I dont know JG, its a big ask.
I am sure we can keep winning, and I'm sure McInnes will keep up our new standards.
I cant actually see us losing too many more this season, but thats a lot of catch up.

To be honest, if we manage to hang on to all our best players and maybe sign a few outstanding prospects I think most City fans will regard a top ten finish this season as an unqualified success.
Considering where we were a month ago, thats a major surprise.
 
The points to survive will be higher than that this year because the division is so close together.

More like 52/53 I reckon.

If we lose another 8 games this season it leaves 60 points available they would take us to playoffs in about 4th- 5 th place, working out the finality of the league from here is hard..the total games involved is hundreds, better after christmas. HOWEVER if as has been said just worry about us then I can make out a good case for us to exceed what most of us expected a finish in the top 10/12 but not necessarily in top 6!!

we will lose and we will draw so howmany draws out of the 20 games? lets say ...well 64 to 69 pts would be OK
