Why the hell can't we buy some top players fed up of waiting for players in are team to never become what the manager thinks they will become to much dead wood picking up to much wages I wonder if Arsenal will pay my mortgage iv been loyal for 28 years and buy a hell of a lot things nearly every other week to support them look sometimes I just want to see the worlds best in my team and not by accident yes we have had class players in are team but when we got these players we did not know what they turn out like so some times we've been lucky but now is the time for class to take us to that next level a love my club I just think so players in are team just see Arsenal as a stop gap before going to another club and achieving with other top players am not saying are play are **** cos their not far from that but when a club like Arsenal go's to Lille get Hazard and leave Gervinho like I said Gervinho not **** but Hazard better what have we become or not become one step fore would two steps back. This is not about Gervinho it just about class that will put us on to that next level. We are getting left behind what we happy with fourth place now.

When have we actually bought top players? Even the likes of henry was failing at Juv, and wasn't regarded as a real top player, if he was then Juv would not have sold him, they probably thot they were getting a good deal for him. The last top player was probably campbell, or maybe Wiltord, before that it was probably overmars and bergkamp. Most of the other players were not regarded as top players, but they became top players at arsenal.

Therefore the philosophy has not changed that much over the years, the type of player bought has changed, but not the original philosophy. I remember the day bergkamp signed for us, I heard it on news at 10, that was a top signing that the whole country was talking about, the only other headline maker was Campbell, mainly because he came from spurs. People tend to forget that we have never really signed these so called top players.

Man what is your article all about???? It made no sense, and in case you didn't watch lille last season, gervinho was probably their most influential player along with sow, hazard is class but he is really expensive and his wage demands would be ridiculous. Go and support another team if all your concerned about is buying the best player's you clueless idiot.

Agreed, we need players that also fit the system. Gervinho, despite his poor finishing, has been an excellent signing. The number of chances he's created have been brilliant, it's no coincidence that RvP's goal tally has been rather high since we signed him.
