As we're in the market for a striker or two this article caught my eye this morning, more so because a couple of the names in this top 5 list have cropped up in several threads already ... anyway, I don't personally know anything about any of these hotshots .. makes a reasonable read though (for anyone wanting eased into their Monday morning)

    http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_6997344,00.html

Quick summary - this is the list - a little background of each is included in the link:

    1. Falcao, Porto
    2. Rondon, Malaga
    3. Edinson Cavani, Napoli
    4. Andre Schurrle, Bayer Leverkusen
    5. Moussa Sow, Lille

Not sure if we're realistically looking at any of these guys, but makes for some random, spurious specualtion that could easily make it's way to Cwarr if marketed carefully by the PR juggernaut that is not606 <ok>

    Salomon Rondon

There was an article linking us to this guy a couple of months back. Think we should definitely be going in for him.

Falcao would love it but doubt it
keep bumping on about welliton reckon we'd get him for around 10m as well

Have to wonder whether these Euro starlets would have a similar impact in the Prem though, got to be better than Super S, Besty and the Lover though (is there a TV show in there somewhere?)

No chance on the first 3
Falcao will end up at Champions League team, buy out clause of £26m was it?
Malaga have wealthy middle eastern owners so they'll be building a team and won't need to accept an offer
Cavani linked with Champions League teams

On a plus note .. our friends at Skybet have Everton odds on favourites to land Jay Bothroyd ahead of QPR, NUFC (!! really?) and Sunderland .. another top quality striker somehow missed of this list of top talent from across Euro land ..
