Watched him on Saturday or Sunday. He was in cracking form. Was ripping the piss. He looks in shape. Obviously the standard is what it is, and the physical demands are a world away. However I think you have to say fair play to him, the penny has dropped for now and he must have realised he was wasting his talent with his petulance.

To be honest though it just annoys me more than anything. If he had applied himself here...

The fans loved him and defended him when he was fat, unprofessional and blatantly in the wrong. Imagine the love if he'd actually given a ****.

Imagine what he could have done if we'd employed a decent manager when he was here.

I'm not having this. It was his own fault.

Scored an absolute beaut at the weekend. Put like 5 defenders on their asses before hand.

Not this bollocks again. His problems were entirely his own. We did employ a decent manager during his time here. Both Hughton and Pardew did a decent job and were excellent man managers. Unfortunately HBA didn't want to be a professional footballer.

The defending for that goal was absolutely shocking though...

He had five shots on target at the weekend. The poor bank manager had no chance.

    Hopefully, he's seen the light.
We all know it was the fault of Pardew, but, more so, the fans who kept on calling him Fat. They should also be ashamed of themselves for the incessant Bullying he had to endure - its no wonder he went the way he did.

Shame on you all, especially 30/30......<ok>

I'm not saying pards was to blame, but it was essentialy all his toeragging, ashleyanus-licking fault, and he was to management what Kenneth branagh is to acting.

So what your really saying is that Pardew is responsible for Kenneth Branagh, being a crap actor.....fair enough
    Another notch on Pards belt.

Ben Arfa is awesome, you just need to play him in the right formation. 4-3-3 with less defensive responsibility.

We put him on and gave him too much defensive responsibility, and blamed him for not saving us constantly.

He was a bit of a ****, but a better manager would still have made it work. There are plenty of ****s around who are man managed into scoring goals.

HBA was unmanageable. However I'd still have kept him over Gouffran <laugh>

The real issue was pardew asked him to play rwb essentially. He isnt a physical freak like sissoko or bolasie and pardew didn't know how to make the team pick up his slack.
