Very pleased for our boys, that Ayew links up well with Gomis and has the feet to score a bagful as well, and sounds from his interview to be a humble lad that knows how to work hard. Ayew was my MOTM against Manu, with Gomis, Williams, and Shelvey a very close second..........
Lets not get ahead of ourselves guys. Stay humble, keep our feet firmly on the ground and remember Still puts tears in my eyes, the day, the goals, the result, the Jack Nation, Kevin Johns what a speech, Braveheart yw Gymraeg
I think everyone is grounded, I don't believe we are getting ahead of ourselves. I think on this table we have a real chance of landing top with him, we almost made it to the top with Bony, so why not our little panther?
Hope your right Jager. I'm just trying to keep it all in perspective and trying stop my imagination cutting loose but your right. So far so good, Gomis is red hot and Ayew believes we can do something special. I'm more than happy spending this season getting used to us competing on equal terms, on the pitch not in the bank, with our own top clubs and from that qualifying for Europa League. We look capable of doing that this season. But Champions league? imo, although exciting it would be too much too soon for us I reckon, just a bit too early in our story I think.
I think champions league qualification is beyond our capabilities right now, while its good getting points off the big teams, we all know that they have far more depth than us and can grind out results, they are far more consistent than us. That is the difference between us and them, we can beat anyone in this league on the day, but we couldn't imo amass more than 70 points ever, so it's highly unlikely that we will break into the top 4 sides
I never ever cry over a football match but that day at wembley after we won i could feel myself welling up. It was a magic day that i will never forget.......I also saw us win to reach Div 1 under tosh and that was a special day also but the swans Reading game had every emotion possible that i think was my best day in football...
Yep that Reading game was full of different emotions. My biggest disappointment is that I had to watch on my own without my boy, I was gutted that he missed it due to being away with football.
there is one thing never.....you certainly never watched it on your own. There were over 41k jacks at wembley plus millions watching all around the world.....
I see Huw wants the expansion to start soon, and is calling on Swansea City council to get their act together............
We are desperate for an extension but it will never happen to the standard we need im sorry to say....And that's a worry for our future.....
