Very much looks like it will be 3 of the bottom 6 that will go. You could argue that West Brom and Southampon could get dragged into it, but realistically I think they'll both pick up enough points. Although it's tight, and I suspect it will remain so, we are in the best position of the six teams in the mix. Can't see Villa escaping, and I strongly fancy Swansea to go with them, so for me it's a question of which of the remaining four teams falls through the trapdoor. I'm pretty confident we will just about do enough, but I'd breathe a bit easier if we bolstered our central defensive ranks!
Spot on Dorset and Saturday's game will have a massive impact. As long as we don't lose, that will give a huge boost to the players. We still have to play the other 4 teams in the bottom 6 - 2 away and 2 at home and we really need to win those, plus a few others to ensure safety
Interesting if you look at the table we are the start of the scary, dodgy double figure minus goal differences! Thus we need to combine the gist of the last three posts 1/ strengthen the centre backs ( when oh when will this happen?) 2/ winning some at least of the 'six pointers' with teams below us 3/ ensuring we get 5 wins from somewhere
