The top eight players this season across the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 are listed as follows: 1. Neymar (Barcelona), 2. Mahrez (Leicester), 3. Ibrahimovic (PSG), 4. Messi (Barcelona), 5. Costa (Bayern Munich), 6. Vardy (Leicester), 7. Suárez (Barcelona), 8. Lewandowski (Bayern Munich). Not bad company for our boys. Complimentary article on our current success too. http://www.theguardian.com/football...ester-city-claudio-ranieri-jamie-vardy-summit
Good article and for those of you from other boards that won't read it and post various crap here - the rankings are from Opta and not off the top of someone's head.
Yet Hull would find it tough to decide who they would have upfront between Vardy, Hernandez, and Chuba, and Mahrez "might get in if he stopped diving"
Saw that Sky run a "power ratings" system or something to that ilk. Basically players are rated based on their last 5 games and our entire first 11 are in the top 50. Who the **** is "Chuba"?
Why it's Chuba Akpom of course, how could you not know? The guy is on a record-breaking run of scoring in zero consecutive Premier League games...
Disappointed and dismayed that Kante isnt in that rating as he is fast becoming one of my favourites of all time.
I'll keep banging my drum for Marc Albrighton. His long overdue introduction late last season sparked our current run of form and he rates at least 8/10 every game.
Maybe Cambiassso helped improve DD last year in training if so credit to him too, he certainly helped DD by leaving
DD will hopefully prove to Manchester United at the weekend they should never have let him go. He's due a goal...
Good old Derby. Hope they get promoted. Would be nice to have an East Midlands derby game next season.
Yeah it'd be great if us and Derby establish ourselves in the prem whilst Forest continue to rot in the championship. I've always quite liked Derby (as rivals go) as their fans are much more down to earth
Im a leicester fan I was born in nottingham and lived there till i was 6 months old My late grandad was a huge derby fan and thats where my mum was born I actually like all three.
