I think Liverpool will finally get things right , the lack of consistency will go if he gets a settled squad and Gerrard leaving will mean all the old guard have left ,something he tried to accommodate but with little success .
I'm confident we'll be ok and again any where above mid table will mean a good season for us .

I really cant see Liverpool in the top 6 this season and i also think Chelsea wont have it all their own way and will finish behind the Manchester clubs......Im very excited this season as the top spot is not a forgone conclusion and more open than its ever been......

Everyone else has strengthened as we have and that's just to maintain the status quo .

For me if Utd sign Bale or Muller, they finish top with Man City 3rd. They've spent a load of money but haven't improved for me, yet.

I think Spurs have done the least strengthening so far and hope springs eternal.

I think Everton will have some say on 7th place this season after a poor showing last season. As may Stoke, Southampton and us.

Man City - Sterling will shine with limited chances and I think will force a regular place on bench with a good few starts.

Chelsea - Costa to Hazard Goal!, Hazard to Costa Goal!, Costa Goal!, Hazard Goal! Lose one the other is diminished, keep both could well pip the Citizens

Arsenal - Beautiful team to watch but always have a weak period when they seem to blow their chances. Its happened every year for the last 5 at least. Can they break their hudu? I don't think so.

Man Utd - Don't have the personnel, imo, to succeed in both prem or Europe and could mess up both if they start to believe that they are as good as they used to be. They're not and fourth with a 1/4 or semi final, imo, would, although possible, be an over achievement this year.

.....and I'm coping out now. For 5th and 6the, perm two from:

Swans - Looking good for more of the same but our success heavily depends on how our strikers perform throughout the season, not just over a few games. Bafe and Eder have to bang them in for us to stand any chance of Euro, regardless of what Siggy, Shelvey and Ayew can bring.

Southampton - Signed a few, lost a few but they'll just keep on going. Smallish squad so season depends on players staying fit and if they lose a few could run out of puff near seasons end as they did last year.

Spurs - Unimpressive in xfer market and imo will feature top 10 not top 6 but you can never right them off.

Liverpool - fear and desperation might spur Liverpool to a top 6 but it could also kill them. Most squads are looking at the full season to perform. Unfortunately for Liverpool they only have until Christmas to show what they can do. This short term approach could go either way for them and luck could well play a part in their position come seasons end. They'll miss Gerrards' influence and leadership too and Brendan looks isolated to me.
