    Yeah truth be known I was ****ting myself that he’d leave. He’s confirmed that offers came in from other clubs and he could easily have walked.

    And yep too early to tell about our defence. We look better on paper, but the proof is in the pudding.

    After one game mate, that's some achievement!


    Chelsea look anything but top 3 today mind, and Spurs suddenly look like a genuinely good side, so a bit early to call anything really.

    Bar City and Liverpool being 1 & 2 tbf.

    It was before any games mate.

    Yesterday just confirms how I expect it to go. Inconsistent underperforming to around December. Then the customary 20 game unbeaten run in the new year before the predictable collapse around April which leaves 4th spot on a knife edge.

    Not a great day for the Chavs but it was Livpl, and they've got a few players to return from injuries. I still think they're probably 3rd looking at this league.
