Sorry - I didn't realise it was the official nominees. What I would say is that it is great to see 6 players who could all win it - shows how well they have played this season
the same panel of sports writers every season, they can only choose 6 players so there will be some that wont get chosen.....last season sinclair and dyer were picked and this season they were pipped by others.....
Sorry, but while Siggy has undoubtedly been a revelation for us, player of the season should only go to a player that has infact played a full season.
Shocking that Dyer o Graham is not in there, they have played a huge part of our season, Siggy or Ash shouldn't be there I think, Siggy played maybe a third of the season, Ash has made quite a few blunders, still that is my opinion.
Agree Valley. Every player has played a huge part this season and I for one would be gutted to be let out while a player that has played 7 games gets in. Shocking decision.
cant pick everyone, a panel of judges choose the top 6 players, i was shocked that dyer was not in there but its no surprise that sinclair and danny were not considered this time. with siggs then you can question why he is there but it must be for his goals that nobody else were getting so im ok with him being nominated....
Ash shouldn't be there?!!!! Wash your mouth out with soap valley - Ash has been immense this season, think the positives far outweigh any blunders he has made this season! Has been an absolute rock this season and the first name on the team sheet for most of it!
I know he's good on occasions, but I think Dyer and Graham have been better players over the season, the others I can't argue with as they deserve to be there.
Not just good on occasions - has been consistently good and has led the backline magnificently! But can't disagree with you about Dyer and Graham; Dyer has ran some of the best defenders in the country ragged (Evra's substitution was a high point) and Danny has put the team before his personal goal tally (passing to Dyer last weekend when he might have scored himself) and worked his arse off for the cause. Personally think Player of the year should go to the whole regularly starting 11 - we have got where we are because we are a team in the truest sense of the word - and singling out one player is an impossible job, just give it to the lot of them! We are where we are because we have no superstars; no ego's; no primadonna's - just a squad of committed professionals that are committed to a common cause! And on a side note - think it is criminal that little Joey is not on the shortlist for young player of the year - if he played for Manure he would walk it!!!
I agree with you on that one mate, think Norwich fans would be having the same problem as us . Which is good news for both of our clubs.
Do we really care when our players don't get selected in "team of the Year" or "Young player of the year" awards? I don't. They count for **** all. All that matters is our League position.

sorry its the same people every season that picked the top 6....i didn't see anyone complaining last season when the top 6 were announced. they have got the top 6 spot on and just as i think they think....danny and sinclair nowhere near good enough and rightly so....a striker with as many barren games as danny and you think he is a top 6 player .. common sense prevails......
