I have no idea how the German financial model works but it obviously does ... Dortmund obviously don't feature on your list but the fact that they get regular attendances of 80k+ for home league games is phenomenal ...

 

Money is made with sponsorship not fans in the ground.
UTD would hill 100,000 easy if it charged the same as Dortmound, even ££££ would get 500 if they charged less

Sure I have read the German state, or reginal states provide financial support to clubs. This helps with lower prices.
