Man U, change formation to get at City, this is the result (so far). Even if they don't win this, it's a very good performance and a bit worrying as we're already well out of touch of top 3, so a resurgent Man U alongside Liverpool and Chelsea just being better means we're not in Europe next year.

I absolutely guarantee when we go back to the Etihad it'll be the good ol' 433.

Bit random but, have you noticed that Howe seems to be in awe of pep and that pep doesn't even like him?

Ha, yeah, I did wonder about that, about what's gone on there. Has Howe approached him in the past to 'learn' and been turned away? Dunno, but Pep was particularly scathing in the presser before the LC game - "sure, I lie awake at night worrying about Eddie Howe" dripping with sarcasm. Earlier Howe was just gushing praise on Pep as well. All a bit cringe - I get we're miles away from City but again nice guy Eddie doesn't feel like the guy to make anyone scared of Newcastle.

They all seem to take the piss out of Howe or Newcastle and he never retaliates.

This is the first disastrous result of the weekend btw...the 3 wins we've managed to grind out vs some fairly **** clubs haven't convinced me at all tbh and it won't surprise me if wolves are set up well to defeat us.

I think our whole club lacks a ruthlessness anywhere. I mean, any club that allows the head coach to pick their own boss is asking for trouble.

They want stringing up if they do lose. Not having the fatigue nonsense either. Sign some players or shut up about fatigue/ injuries.
