This isn't about a comparison to us, it's an overall feeling about how Man U are and where they'll finish. It's a totally objective opinion on them, how good the team I support may or may not be is irrelevant here.

Man U look much better than last season, but still way off the top, they rely so heavily on Fernandes that I can only see them worsening in the near future.

Your feeling and where they are seem to be at odds. I hope you're right, but I think you're under estimating them and what they can and will do in January.

Brighton? We need them to get beat man, we’re ****ing light years from Arsenal.

Mate I've given up on Newcastle this season as far as Europe is concerned. I just don't want arsenal to win the league or Isak to play in the CL next season.

I'm pinning all our hopes on the cups and the CL.

Wow emery makes changes and villa come from behind to lead 2-1

It’s a sickener really as the recent spending is far bigger from us (yes, we started from a worse point) and this is exactly where I think Newcastle are “supposed” to be.

We paid £40m for Barnes, they got Tielemans for £0. Rogers was about £8m. They have spent so well and in Emery have managed to appoint an elite manager. Thats where we should be yet here we are languishing in 13th, on track if this season continues as is to have an almost identical season to Steve Bruce’s last full season. Dont get me wrong, Bruce was dire, but at what point do the excuses run out?

Villa have traded very well... They sold us Ramsey for 40 million and he wasn't even a regular starter. They sold the big Colombian dude when his stock was high and have basically now won the race and have broken into the big 6 while playing on 4 competitions.

Newcastle are done I think for the forseeable future, because villa will turn the screw again this summer. There's a big 7 and Newcastle aren't one of them.

I'm not sure Spurs are one of them either so who's the other?

We're not big 7 despite the fact we've finished 4th. 7th and 5th in the last 3 season? Interesting. And so Sunderland and Man U are in the top 7 then? Lol.

Nope, in terms of revenue etc we are top 8. We spunked our load on a load of PL proven ****e and so that's us done for another 2-3 years as we have no plans for infrastructure because these things take time...........

You're right on this... Finishing in the top 6 for a couple of season isn't what makes the big 6 the big 6, it's the revenues.
