Best thing I’ve seen - which I have literally never seen in my lifetime - is an England manager picking a team based on more factors than just reputation. Go back the days with Lampard, scholes and Gerrard in midfield, or no left midfielders because we didn’t have one considered top class individually. Now it’s about the formation, ability, form, style. For once I think we have a genuine chance at a major tournament, with the added bonus of being underdogs by a distance.

The irony of England winning a pot under a German is hilarious.

Big factor. Don't shoehorn in players just because of name. Even as recently as last tournament when playing Foden out of position and alongside Bellingham instead of playing Gordon.
Pick the best team and not necessarily the best 11 players. It's not rocket science.

Bellingham won’t get in before Anderson at this rate which is class.

Man United going above us by 4 points if this stays like this. It's getting to a point where the hypotheticals are going to have to turn into results for us.
