Opinions on deserving to win mean nothing really. We were robbed of 2 points in Paris. That result meant we had to go for it at home to AC which caught us out.

The fact is Newcastle were the worst side in the group over 6 games and came last.... looking at one decision and then applying mental gymnastics won't change anything. There were decisions went for and against all the clubs.

We threw away the game against Milan as we usually do.

We shouldnt have just parked the bus, we were pretty ****.

Against Dortmund we looked abysmal, both games.

I'm genuinely amused some of the residents on here are trying to create a beef with PSG

We were class against PSG first game then bottled it a bit.

But we were robbed by a 97th min penalty which was never a penalty albeit we got battered.

Your bang on re the Dortmund games.

Milan we got a good away point.

The home game was a disaster.

Maybe it's just that Dortmund are a lot better than us and didn't 'let' us play.
They are through to the semis. Likewise, PSG and Milan who are still in Europa.

These are all big clubs with lots of CL experience. While the PSG home game was amazing, we simply need more time (and more CL experience) to get to their level consistently.

It was great to be back in the CL again. But ultimately we finished bottom of a very tough group. Simple as.
