In the spell we had Cameron Stewart fit and available he was one of the most exciting prospects iv seen for a long time, He was skillful, quick, and got a hatfull of assists, but then he had HIS serious injury,Too many it would be a career shortening injury. so dont you think were putting too much pressure on the lad? everyones talking about how he should go straight back in the team when fit and how hes going to get us in the automatic spots, Im not too sure, I think we wont see the real Cameron Stewart until well into next year.
When I saw you're name I thought to myself "Oh **** not you again!" Anyway I've thought this myself and it's not as if 1 player makes a team either. I think alot of us expect far too much from him, and with the seriousness of his injury it's a good possibility he may never hit the same form again. If his knee hasn't repaired 100% it will make a serious dent to his ability to run like buggery right til the last whistle, and in my opinion that's where he was most effective as when opposition defenders were tired, he was still full of it and running full pelt to the other end, take Sheff Utd away last season for example. Hopefully he hits the ground running and comes back good as new, fast as ever and as tricky as luring a lesbian into bed.
well from what NP has said CS wont be back until the Derby away game. So i agree he should be eased back in and not rushed. Derby - Burnsley and Southampton 20-30 mins off the bench. Then those 2 home games with Leicester and Birmingham could be possible starters for him. I would also give him reserve games from the start to get his match fitness up. Word has it that CS will play on 9th November @ Ferriby for the reserves home game with Gateshead. Liam was saying on tuesday night that he looked good and was as fast as ever. That to me is a good place to be as this moment in time.
Lets all remember what happened to Jimmy Bullard when had his serious Knee injury......... and Midlands, just admit you're glad to have me back
Hows your Pierre Gagnaire resteraunt getting along. Also has the BT man only just finished fixing your coughanuscough 'internet'? How many tissues did you get through in all this time?
Hahaha got quite the memory Mid, But the Restaurant has gone bankrupt so iv been using the tissues for other reasons e.g crying at night Im now back in Hull were I belong in Anlaby, Iv made a bid for Voujon restaurant though.
as we are doing quite well, no need to risk him ...ease him back in with plenty of reserve team football and sub appearances, then unleash him fully in the new year...
